Products Liability
Products liability law is designed to compensate individuals who are harmed by defective products. Products can be defective because they were improperly manufactured or designed, or because they failed to have adequate warnings concerning hazards associated with the use of the product. Examples include pharmaceuticals or industrial/household chemicals that do not adequately warn of serious side effects, machines that are not properly guarded, motor vehicles designed without features that limit the likelihood of injury in an accident and numerous other scenarios. |
